Returning Members
Returning Members receive a special priority and are scheduled for July
27th and July 28th.

Auditions for New Applicants are scheduled for August 3rd
and August 10th.
Late auditions are scheduled for September 3rd.
History of CVYO
The Conejo Valley Youth Orchestra was founded
in 1961 by Betty Bowen, at California Lutheran University, Thousand Oaks,
California and is dedicated to the study and performance of contemporary orchestral literature and
providing music education and performance opportunities for musically talented youth.
Under the guidance of Artistic
Director/Conductor Maestro Bill Benson our program continues to develop and
enhance the music education of local students and to provide symphonic
orchestral music experience as a supplement to music education in the schools.
Perfomances are held at the Fred
Kavali Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Center.
